Admission Requirements

At Madaniyah Foundation Preschool, we joyfully welcome children aged 3 to 5 into our supportive and enriching learning environment, embarking on a journey of educational excellence. Admissions open from the term following your child’s 3rd birthday.

All children between the ages of 3 and 5 are entitled to 15 hours of free funding, a valuable opportunity from the term after turning 3 until the term after turning 5. This ensures that your child can actively participate in our nurturing nursery program without any financial burden during this crucial developmental stage.

As your child approaches their 5th birthday, the free funding concludes, but our commitment to providing a supportive and engaging educational environment persists.

For families with both parents working, an additional opportunity awaits through the 30 hours funding code. To unlock this benefit, parents can complete the government eligibility checker (www.childcarechoices.gov.uk), obtaining the code before the term they wish their child to start. This ensures extended access to our enriching educational programs, embodying our dedication to making quality early education accessible to every child.

Admission

Upon admission, we kindly ask parents or guardians to complete two essential forms – one for the local council and another for Madaniyah Foundation.

Proof of identification, proof of address, and the child’s birth certificate are vital documents for a smooth enrollment process. Join us in shaping a bright tomorrow for your child at Madaniyah Foundation Preschool.

Settling in

Your child may benefit from the presence of a parent/guardian spending time with them in the setting, aiding in their settling process. Some children may need 5 – 10 minutes, while others might benefit from a few sessions in the classroom. Together, we’ll work to provide your child with a comfortable transition, fostering a sense of ease in their new environment.

Uniform

While we don’t currently have a mandatory uniform, we encourage children to wear comfortable clothing suitable for engaging in outdoor play. This ensures they can fully enjoy physical activities while at our preschool.

Book bags

During the first term, children will receive book bags to bring home reading materials and safely store any assigned homework. We kindly ask parents to keep these books safe, and in the event of loss, there is a £5 replacement charge.

Snacks

Cultivating healthy eating habits early on, we provide a variety of fruits and vegetables as daily snacks. From fresh fruits to toasties, these offerings aim to enhance your child’s nutritional experience and lay the foundation for a lifetime of healthy consumption.

Additional Fees

Admin Fees

Upon admission, a one-time £75 fee supports administrative processes, enrollment management, and facility maintenance. This fee also contributes to acquiring materials and resources that enrich the educational experience for our young learners.

To sustain our daily provision of healthy snacks, parents are requested to contribute a minimum of £10 a month.
